0730hrs, transfer to Arusha airport for your one hour flight to the famous wildlife plains of the Serengeti National Park.

Derived from the Maasai word siringet, meaning endless plains, the Serengeti is one of the world's last great wildlife refuges.

On arrival met and transferred to the Serengeti Serena Lodge with game viewing enroute. Later in the afternoon after a sumptuous lunch and a siesta, we setoff to explore these endless plains. Dinner and overnight (L, D)

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you must catch your 1000hrs flight back to Arusha arriving at midday in time to board a connecting flight to the spice island of Zanzibar should you wish to extend your safari or a shuttle to Nairobi (5 hours) arriving early evening at an approximate cost of USD 25.

Better still you could connect with a flight back to Nairobi at a cost of USD 235(B))

Today after breakfast, we grab our picnic lunch and delve in this pristine wilderness in search of the great beasts.

We'll discover why the fabled Serengeti typifies everyone's dream of "Old Africa." After a beautiful sundowner, we return to the lodge for overnight stay (B, L, D)
