7 Days Tanzania Wilderness Explorer
Drive to Arusha from Nairobi arriving just in time for lunch. You will spend the night hosted in the waylaid family friendly Boma Guest House in Arusha town enabling you acclimatize for the bush experience. Excellent bites prepared from their own organically grown vegetable farm and tastefully served. Overnight, Guest House (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu with en-route lunch.Proceed for a leisurely walk in Mto wa Mbu Village. Interact with the local people and learn their lifestyle in the company of a community guide.The village is a good introduction to Tanzanian life because its inhabitants include members of many different tribes.
Our first stop is to see some farm land and learn about local crop production methods, irrigation, and cattle husbandry techniques.
Next, we stop to see some 'Makonde' carvers and a local medicine man, to show us a variety of herbal remedies.

Thereafter continue with the drive to the park.Spend two nights in Serengeti and delve in this pristine wilderness in search of the great beasts. Days 2 and 3: Ngorongoro crater
Days 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park
After lunch depart from Arusha to Karatu village where we will set camp next to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The next day after breakfast, we descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano.
The famous Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site situated at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania.
The crater is the largest unbroken ancient caldera in the world; a haven for thousands of wild game, including lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, Thomson's gazelles and buffaloes which share this land with the legendary

Early morning game drives in Lake Manyara national park. Lake Manyara a small park famed for its large troops of baboons and elephants, abundant birdlife- flamingoes in particular, tree climbing lions and its large soda lake and hot springs presenting excellent photo opportunities.
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving in time to board a connecting flight to the spice island of Zanzibar should you wish to extend your safari or drive back to Nairobi arriving early evening to connect with your flight back home or spend a night in Nairobi.This itinerary can be combined with the 8 Days Kenya Wilderness Explorer Safari for a complete East Africa experience (B)
Day 7: Lake Manyara- Arusha
